Born from juice gleaned from select lots, la Gitane is the spiritual
counterpoint to the Squire. In the countryside, the aristocracy and the
vagrant continually cross paths. To the effete country squire the travelers are
seen to be freeloading off the manorial lands, to the travelers, the landed life
appears as nothing more than a pompous prison. La Gitane is of the same
source as our more aristocratic wines, but prefers the staff meal over Ortolan.
