Tasting notes: A deep yet bright sanguine red, the Revelator emits flavors of kirsch, currant, pomegranate, leaden pencil shavings,and molten chocolate. With moderate tannins and balanced acidity, the palate is layered with flavors of dripping-ripe bing cherry, cola, black olive and menthol.
Pairings: BBQ baby back ribs (dressing on), pasta bolognese, five spice salmon, seasoned and grilled rib eye.
