Tasting notes: Layered with notes of black currant, spearmint, bacon, and smoked cedar planks, this wine seems to change almost by the second. It is plush, both in aromatics and in mouthfeel, with blueberry, violets, kirsch and creme de cassis joining notes of tobacco and cola. A truly Californian Cabernet.

COMMENTARY: The 2017 Field Recordings Neverland Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent example of Paso Robles can produce. TASTING NOTES: This wine is brisk, lively, and pert. Pair its aromas and flavors of blackcurrants and earth with a grilled, double-thick pork chop. (Tasted: April 26, 2019, San Francisco, CA)
